So what's your goal for Suwrimo this year? How many words, and what story? Tell us a little blurb.

This year I hope to finish the story I started last year, Blue Star. I don't know how many words it'll take, so I'm not going to impose a word goal on myself.
Blue Star is a murder mystery/thriller/urban fantasy/SF/character study. It's hard to put it in a single genre. It's about a detective trying to catch a serial killer who's terrorizing the city he lives in.

I'm still unsure of my goal this year, because I know that this summer will be tricky. However, I do know that I want to work on (and get as much done as possible on) my newest fantasy novel, set in the same world as my first SuWriMos trilogy. I'll probably aim for 50k words on it and increase that if I write more. =D

I'm going to aim for 50,000 words. Hopefully this should be attainable with everything that's going on in my life right now--sister is getting married in July and I'm the maid of honor, and I'm starting both my job and my internship this week. Should be a busy summer, but a fun one, and hopefully I can manage my 50,000 words Not sure which project I'm going to work on yet.

This year I'm aiming for 15,000 words, a short story. It'll be a steampunk fantasy war story (or that's what I'm calling it anyway).
